Tapped Out By a Frenchman.

Many things've happened since I last posted. I suppose I'll start at the beginning. My ladyfriend spent her week here, it was a good week...minus the excessive rainfall, no work and being bored out of our trees. We went to see X3, which I happened to enjoy, minus a few excessive cliches. But, she's gone now, and life's back to its typical go to work, sleep, work, sleep, rarely eat pattern. I went to Edmonton 2 weekends in a row though, got to see a couple good friends, hang out, have a good time. The second weekend, I went to a UFC seminar put on by the MFC, featuring Welterweight number 1 contender Georges St Pierre. He's a really cool guy. I don't think it was worth 100 dollars for the 4 hours of what went down, but it was good none the less. He was showing us the proper technique for the Achilles ankle lock, and man, there's the way we do it....which hurt....the way Coach did it....which REALLY hurt....and then there's the way he does it...which is like....OH DEAR SWEET JESUS LET ME GOOOOOO. haha not to mention, he can grip just your legs and completely immobilize you. So yeah, I got tapped out alright. but c'mon, tapped out by a UFC high rank contender? That's dope. Since then, I got back to Lloyd, and I've been workin my face off, when its not pissing rain. We're supposed to be going down to Calgary for a couple weeks soon, so I should get to see the family...and the lady friend....and a couple other good friends. Speaking of the lady friend, I think I need to talk to her..face to face. Her ex is a guy I went to school with...kind of a sketch to begin with. He's in memphis right now working. Good riddance. Anyways, they broke up a week before I started dating her, so I know I'm a rebound, I've come to terms with that. They broke up because he was starting to overstep his boyfriend-rights.....not listen to her....when she said no. Get it? If not, you're stupid. Anyways, she broke up with him. Now they're talking again...and he's feeding her full of the I miss you flirtation crap, saying he wants her back, wants to bring her presents, etc etc, says he's changed. its only been like 2 months. BULL. FUCKING. SHIT. But what gets me, is she's BUYING IT! she says she forgives him! Now, if she wants to stay friends and hang out, thats her business, but once he starts opening the "wants her back" doors, its MY business. But while all I asked was she doesnt see him ALONE, she just kinda said "no no, I assure you he'd never try anything"
but he would. and he will.
I can just see this relationship hitting the deathspiral. I mean, if she'd said she told him to fuck off, thats one thing, but all she said was she feels awkward. Yeah, you dated for a year, you probly still like him in a way. So I wanna talk to her in person about it...see her eyes. Its putting this on the edge of a knife. /sigh/ I should stop brooding about it. I'll go... kick a couple pigs or something.
